The agreement between you and DH Loconomy when you reserve ad space on the mailer.
DH Loconomy is a sole proprietorship operated by an individual doing business as "DH Loconomy" and "The Dallas Highlighter" ("DH Loconomy," "we," "us"). By reserving ad space, submitting artwork, or making a payment through this site, you ("Advertiser," "you") agree to these Terms of Service.
DH Loconomy sells numbered ad spots on a physical postcard mailer distributed via USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) to households on a defined carrier route. Each issue mails approximately once per month to the current route (currently East Plano + Murphy, TX, beginning October 2026). We design, print, and mail the postcard; you supply or approve the content of your ad box.
Spots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by submitting the reservation form on our Pricing & Reserve page. Your reservation is confirmed upon submission — no payment is required or collected at the time you reserve.
Category exclusivity: once your business's reservation is confirmed for an issue, we will not reserve or sell a spot on that same issue to another business in the same category or field (for example, only one landscaping company, only one plumber, per issue). This exclusivity applies for the length of your reserved term.
We reserve the right to decline a reservation before payment is collected, in which case you will be notified and no charge will occur.
Current pricing is listed on our Pricing & Reserve page and may change for future issues; your locked-in rate for an active term will not change mid-term.
When you're charged: payment is collected only once a full side of the mailer (8 spots) has been reserved for that issue. Once your side fills, we will contact you to collect payment before that issue goes to print. If a side does not fill before the issue's artwork deadline, your reservation carries forward to the next issue at no cost to you, or you may withdraw your reservation at any time before payment is collected.
1-month terms: Month-to-month, billed monthly with no fixed end date. Cancel any time with 30 days' written notice — no cancellation fee.
3/6/12-month plans: These are minimum-term commitments. Cancelling before the end of your committed term requires 90 days' written notice. No cancellation fee applies — you're simply billed through the end of your 90-day notice period, then the plan ends.
Missed or declined payments on any active plan: If a scheduled payment fails, we will contact you directly to resolve it. If we do not receive a response or resolution within 2 weeks of that failed payment, we will treat it as notice of cancellation and end the plan.
To cancel, email thedallashighlighter@gmail.com with your business name and spot number.
Advertisers must submit artwork by the deadline listed on our FAQ & Specs page for each issue (currently 10 days before the issue's month begins). If artwork is not received by the deadline, your reservation rolls to the next available issue at our discretion. If you do not have print-ready artwork, we will design your ad box from the logo and offer text you provide, at no additional charge.
We reserve the right to refuse, edit for print/technical requirements, or request revision of any submitted content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, infringes on a third party's rights, or does not meet the technical specifications on our FAQ & Specs page.
We file each issue with USPS under the Every Door Direct Mail program and make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure timely printing and mailing. We are not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or misdelivery caused by the United States Postal Service or events outside our reasonable control.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details. Your use of Stripe's payment services is also subject to Stripe's own terms.
DH Loconomy's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific issue(s) in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or lost profits.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
